Get Stuck in Your Love

In the Rooftop, cold and bitter air.

There was a woman with an abnormally white face and her eyes were full of resentment, like a fierce ghost crawling out of hell. At this moment, she was controlling a woman who was crying bitterly, and the veins stood out in her hand. Both of them were standing together on the edge of the rooftop.

Isabella kept stepping back again, and only half a step away, she and the other woman might fall down the building. Her voice was hoarse, and she struggled to breathe, saying in despair, "Lucas, I don't want to die alone. If you die with me, I will let her go."

A month ago.

"This just in. CR Corporation is declares insolvent, and its chairman Robert Anthony is accused of bribery. Robert seems to have a heart attack and is sent to the hospital for rescue. And the one who submitted evidence of bribery and reported Robert was his son-in-law, Lucas Ralph, president of the G Group." 

The anchor's voice echoed in the huge villa. Isabella froze up and she raised her hand to pat herself fiercely. It hurt! That meant she was not in a dream! Her family's company went bankrupt and her father was arrested and sent to the hospital! Isabella couldn't believe that and she stared at the Lucas's handsome face on TV which was familiar to her.

Since Isabella was 17 years cold, Lucas had been holding a place in her heart. But now, Lucas's handsome face seemed so unfamiliar to her. Isabella knew that Lucas didn't love her, but they were married and she was going to have his baby!

Isabella's face turned more and more pale and her stiff body began to tremble greatly. She wiped away her tears in her face, and turned around. She was saying to herself, "No, it's not true. Dad will be fine. I'll go to see him."

Isabella had been pregnant for seven months. At that moment, she had a stomachache. She stumbled, fell on the sofa, and her hands desperately formed fists. The pain came violently, but it failed to wake her up from this nightmare cause by Lucas.

"Why? Why does Lucas did this to me?" Isabella said to herself.

At press conference, Lucas was dressed in a high-end handmade suit and looked great. Some reporters wanted to ask him more questions but was stopped by his cold eyes. He was escorted by his bodyguards to leave.

Colin Wood,vice President of the G Group, walked to him and whispered, "Lucas, just now there was a call from your villa. It is said that Isabella fainted and was sent to the hospital."

"Go back to the company right now," Lucas ignored Colin's words, and his expression didn't change at all even when he heard that Isabella might go into labour early.

The Anthony family's company collapsed, and Lucas thought it was time to end his loveless marriage with Isabella. 

"Lucas, you are really cold-blooded. The baby in her body is your child. You can't do this to her! She was innocent." Colin felt sorry for Isabella.

Because of Jenny Symons, Lucas decided to marry Isabella, to take revenge on her father Robert Anthony.

"I don't need you to tell me what to do," Lucas said coldly, and slowly closed his eyes. He sneered in his heart. He didn't care Isabella at all even if she was having his baby and he didn't think Isabella was innocent.

As he knew, Isabella's dad, Robert, raped Jenny and made her disappear from Lucas for several years. It was Jenny who should have his baby, not Isabella. Because of Robert, Jenny, who had always been a gentle and positive woman, had mental illness.

So even if Isabella had his baby, Lucas didn't love her. What Robert valued most was his only daughter, Isabella Anthony. So it was the best way to use Isabella to take revenge on Robert.
