"Vincent, please, I can’t take the medicine. I really need this baby! Our baby!"
Alora Lux knelt on the ground with tears all over her face, crying and begging the man to change his idea.
"Take the medicine immediately."
Vincent, however, said coldly: "There is only one woman that qualifies to bear my baby, and it’s not you but Violet."
"Alora, you are the most vicious woman I have ever seen!"
"Vincent, please, I don't want to take this!"
With a belly that vaguely suggested her three-months pregnancy, Alora Lux humbly knelt on the ground.
Her eyes turned all red because of long-time crying, and her head was blistered as she kept kowtowing to beg for Vincent's mercy.
However, her efforts did not soften any bit of Vincent's steel-like cruel heart.
"Drink."
Vincent said the second sentence this morning, while it was no different from the first one.
He was holding a bowl, where there was a dark smelly soup inside it.
"No!"
This was the first time Alora said "no" to Vincent, because she knew the liquid in the bowl was quite effective in abortion.
She was probably not able to have another baby according to the doctor, so the little life in her belly was her last hope.
"Vincent. Why can't you just trust me?"
Alora had to repeat her explanation which both she and Vincent were tired of hearing: "Violet's abortion is an accident. I did not push her off the stairs."
Unfortunately but reasonably, her explanation backfired.
Vincent angrily walked forward and grabbed Alora's chin, forcing her to face his furious eyes. "Shut up you shameless liar!"
Said him almost word by word: "It is you that pushed her in the back. You murdered that baby belongs to Violet and me!"
"I didn't…"
Alora tried to defend herself, but Vincent was running out of his patience.
He domineeringly held Alora's head and then lifted the bowl in his hand.
When he was going to pour the liquid into Alora's mouth, his eyes accidentally met hers.
The pitiful despair inside the woman's eyes paused his hand for a moment, but he soon ignored it and forcefully fed her the abortion soup.
"Vincent, this is also your baby!"
Alora desperately yelled and struggled, but finally failed to avoid swallowing the soup.
"Vince, what are you doing?"
A pleasant voice sounded in the living room of this villa, and a pretty lady in a fancy white dress appeared at the same time.
Seeing what was happening, the lady looked quite surprised and hurriedly persuaded Vincent: "Please don't treat Alora like this!"
"Violet, you can't always be so kind."
Vincent let go of Alora's chin in disgust and put the bowl aside, turning around to Violet October with resignation: "This woman is very good at pretending. All the pitiful look is no more than her disguise, aiming at taking advantage of the kindness from nice guys like you."
"Vince, I believe Alora is innocent."
Violet said, "Even if she lied, you should not do this to her. I have lost my baby, so I know what it feels like. Whether she is good or not, she should not take that kind of anguish…"
When she finished the sentence, her eyes were already filled with tears.
In no mood to appreciate Violet's performance, Alora struggled up from the ground and put her finger into her throat, trying to spew up the soup she just swallowed.
As she successfully vomited, she never felt the sense of nausea so pleasant.
But Alora knew this was not the end--Vincent naturally would not feed her the soup just to see her vomit, so she had to escape before he realized what happened.
"Alora, are you all right?"
Seeing through her intention, Violet hurriedly walked forward and stood in her way: "Where are you going at this time of night?"
"It's none of your business!"
Alora knew Violet was up to no good, so she did not hesitate to push her out of her way.
"It hurts!"
A scream sounded throughout the whole living room before Alora walked out of the room.
She turned back in shock, only to see Violet lying on the ground with blood on her forehead.
Fury filled her chest in an instant.
"Are you going to set me up again?"
Alora frowned with anger: "Shame on you!"
"Alora, zip your mouth!"
Vincent shouted in a louder voice: "You shameless vicious bitch!"
After that, he hurried to Violet and picked her up with unconcealed worry: "Violet, are you okay? I'll take you to the hospital!"
A feeling mixed with anger and jealousy occupied Alora's mind, making her heart hurt like hell.
"Vincent Kennedy."
She took a deep breath and faced Vincent's cold glare: "You won't fall into such a clumsy trap, will you?"
"Still playing innocent at such a moment."
Vincent picked up Violet's body, and his eyes at Alora were filled with sheer disgust: "You don't deserve Violet's kindness."
"Vincent, what's wrong with you? Why won't you believe me just for once?!"
Alora's eyes turned all red.
She really could not understand why Vincent would habitually attribute all bad to her while unconditionally trusting Violet.
This reminded her of something in the past when Vincent met an accident...
She donated her kidney to save him, thinking that she would win back his faith.
But this man once again misunderstood Violet as the one who selflessly saved him.
"I'm tired of all the nonsense."
Vincent walked out of the room and coldly ordered his bodyguards: "Get this woman and take her to the hospital."
With this, he turned to Alora with a venomous gaze: "Let's see how you can have a child without a womb!"
